MINISTER OF OPERATIONS

Chris Smith

Chris Smith is the Minister of Management and Operations here at Hillcrest. He joined the staff in January 2015. He and his wife Sueann have two boys Elijah and Elliott. Chris was saved and joined Hillcrest as a member in 2007. He has had a desire to serve the Lord since that dayn in October 2007 when God changed his life and gave him a new purpose.

Chris is a lifelong resident of Wilson County and is a graduate of Cumberland University with a Bachelors and Masters in Business. Prior to accepting his call into ministry, Chris spent several years working in Higher Education.

Chris oversees all aspects of operations here at Hillcrest. He makes sure our entire campus is running like a well-oiled machine. He volunteers in many other parts of ministry here at Hillcrest. Chris states “I have always had a desire to serve the Lord since God changed my life and gave me a new purpose. I had no plans to be in full-time ministry, but God knows what we need and when we need it.” Chris’ life verse is Rev 1:8 “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.”
